DIRECTIONS: • 1 Cup cornmeal • 1 tsp baking powder • 1 tsp sugar • 1 Cup flour • 1 -- Egg • 3/4 Cup Texas Wild Salsa (any heat level)-Blended • 1 Tbs grated onion Sift dry ingredients into bowl. Beat egg and add blended Texas Wild 4X Hot & Chunky Salsa (or any Texas Wild heat level) and onion. Add salsa egg mixture to dry ingredients and mix together. Form into hush puppy shaped rolls. (Should you like a lot of crust, these may be patted flat.) Place in hot cooking oil (375 degrees) and fry until brown. Makes approximately 24 hush puppies.
