The creators, a husband and wife team who loved eating out in Colorado's many Mexican restaurants, set out to duplicate the fresh taste which characterized the salsas they enjoyed at their favorite small Mexican restaurants. In 1990 they introduced their own gourmet salsa creation in gourmet food shops in Colorado. Colorado Salsa continues to be made with only the finest ingredients. This salsa has successfully captured the essence of freshness with a recipe that has no added sugar, vinegar, or preservatives.
