This salsa hales from the great state of Texas. Y'all know about Texas (we hope) so I won't go into details about this great state... besides, it would simply take too much time. However, I will tell you a little about a family in Austin who is making some of the most flavorful salsa to be found anywhere! INCREDIBLE FLAVOR FOR DIPPING OR COOKING! This salsa was created by Jill and Kevin Lewis. They first made their salsa for friends and family, then decided to take the plunge and produce the salsa on a larger scale, for the rest of the world to enjoy. Both Jill and Kevin have been in the restaurant business for the past 25 years. Kevin's love for chiles is expressed at work, where he is chef and kitchen operations manager for a popular Texas Tex-Mex restaurant. His home garden is full of a variety of chiles, which he uses to create exciting new dishes. Habanero peppers are used for their wonderfully complex flavor. They are combined here with fire roasted tomatoes, carrots, and onion to produce an extremely flavorful salsa. This salsa has a good 'ol Texas "kick." Austin Slow Burn Salsa is great for dipping... or cooking. Try it!
